Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Guess the Flag Color (خمن لون العلم), an iPhone game published by Najma Zekri ("we", "us", "our"), handles information. By using the app you agree to this policy.
In short
- You don't need an account. We don't ask for your name, email, or phone number.
- Your game progress stays on your device.
- The app shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google collects some data to deliver and measure them. You control tracking and consent.
1. Information stored on your device
The app saves these items locally on your iPhone: your language choice, haptics setting, game history, daily challenge progress, streaks, best scores, and whether you have seen the tutorial. We do not receive this information. Deleting the app deletes it.
2. Information collected through advertising
The app uses Google AdMob (Google LLC) to show ads, such as when you open the app and before your results. When ads are loaded and shown, Google and its advertising partners may collect and use:
- Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking
- Approximate location, derived from your IP address (not your GPS location)
- Advertising data and interactions, such as which ads were shown or tapped
- Diagnostics, such as crash logs and performance data
This data is used to deliver, personalize, and measure ads, to prevent fraud, and to improve their services. We set the maximum ad content rating to "G". Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, health data, or payment information. The app has no sign-in and no in-app purchases.
4. Your choices
- Tracking (all users): the app asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your answer any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): the app shows a consent form on first launch. You can review or withdraw your consent any time in the app under Settings > Privacy choices.
- Ad personalization: you can limit it in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising, and through Google's Ad Settings.
5. Legal bases (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
Where data protection law like the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for the use of device identifiers and personalized advertising, and on our legitimate interest in running and securing a free, ad-supported game for basic ad delivery and diagnostics. You can withdraw consent at any time as described above.
6. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal information and do not share anything with third parties ourselves, other than through the advertising service described above. Google may process data in countries outside yours, under its own safeguards.
7. Sharing your results
If you tap Share, the app creates an image and text on your device and opens the iOS share sheet. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose an app or person to send it to.
8. Data retention
Data on your device is kept until you delete the app. Data held by Google is kept under Google's own retention policies.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out by declining the tracking prompt or changing the settings in section 4. Because we hold no account or profile about you, most requests are fulfilled through the controls above and Google's own tools. For anything else, use our support form.
10. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, tell us through the support form.
11. Reporting an inappropriate ad
If you see an ad that seems inappropriate or unsuitable for its audience, report it through the support form and choose the ad-report option, with a screenshot if possible.
12. Security
We keep data collection minimal, and the app does not transmit your game data. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date at the top when we do, and where required we will ask for your consent again.
